[WISPA] Radio / antenna combo

I am trying to understand if it is better to high gain antenna / lower power radio or low gain antenna / higher power radio. Either combo can get you to max EIRP but it seems the lower gain antenna give you better coverage through greater vertical beam width. Am I thinking right? Mark McElvy
