Heya Tracy,
Turns out this was a misunderstanding. The equipment that got stolen was
the CPE at the office in TOWN, not the solar site out in the sticks.
Not sure how those wires got crossed, but the solar sit is still working
well.

We have a site where they sat there and sawed through the 1/2 inch
master lock hasp. After everything was stolen that was not bolted
down, they cut though all of the bolts.
Amazing really.

There are a few things you can do to keep people from feeling
comfortable stealing your stuff.
ip cameras from toshiba will record frames at intervals, plus having
motion detection with email alert. they will also alert you if a loop is
closed or opened.
always a good idea to have voltage monitorin

Marlon,
Sorry to hear about the equipment. A Bouncing Betty or two would be
my preferred approach (I hate thieves). IR / Daylight Cameras with
remote recording and alarms are the only 'legal' solution though. I
also use big mean dogs at sites I routinely visit.

Hi Marlon,
Its a sad post you have made. Can you not get some high steel railings
to go round the site with razor wire on the top? Remote video link and
alarm would help.
Good luck

Be sure to file a police report. It covers your ass at the very least.
