I did and it was way back in 1996 or so. Used Lightpointe. It was an OC3 LED-based system. Tifton, GA. About 800 feet. Shot it from a Doctors Building to the Radiology Building to avoid right-of-way issues (we connected most other buildings with fiber). Worked great and as far as I know it still do
