Did you tie the DLINK into your VoIP system?

Yes, the Keychain in its earliest incarnations goes back to System 7 Pro
(System 7.1.1) IIRC, back in the early 90's.

We did tie it in to our phone system, but it was a bit of a back door. We are
in the process of upgrading our Avaya system and don't yet have native sip
capability so one of our engineers used SIP Express Router
