We deactivated all wired ports in the Res Halls and charge $100/year for wired
ports. We get 10-15 users that still want a wired port. We use port security to
only allow 1 mac address per port.
Our students just started complaining about the rubber banding issue. They said
it wasn’t an issue
Not familiar with your setup or Meraki, but in NPS you can define a Radius
client at a subnetie. 192.168.1.0/24. Then define more specific Connection
Request Policies and Network policies. Don’t worry, NPS is smart enough to
match on the most specific radius client.

We recently deployed these Extron units (without the wifi since we have a solid
wifi infrastructure already) As long as your device can reach this device's
ip you should be good.
