I'm in the middle of
testing authentication using PEAP 802.1x and WPA/TKIP. We are trying to
find a semi high level of security but with a trade off for user simplicity. We
currently are running Cisco ACS Appliance and Cisco 1200 series fat AP's
that use Active Directory for the user auth
We are trying to implement a WPA/TKIP Wireless authentication. We are using
ACS Solution Engine which backs into AD for Authentication. We are currectly
using WEP.
We are looking for the least amount of client setup to make this change.
Cisco has told us to use the PEAP MSCHAPv2 connection with a
w it works. We run 4 4404's with 350 1242ag access points.

he only thing the client has to obtain to get
configured is the instructions.

Will you be using the Containment option in the WCS? Or hunting down the
units and removing them from the Network. Could someone point out some of
the pro's and con's to using containment..
