In looking at the settings of my iphone it supports WPA and WPA2. It
doesn't say if it is psk or not nor does it indicate EAP types that
are supported or there inner protocols. I haven't tried any testing
with it yet but it appears that it may have some support.

Never buy a first generation device. No matter how groundbreaking the
device might be, it always tends to lack extra features that make the
device more ergonomic and adaptable.
