I've searched the wireless-lan list archives for discussions on this
topic, but found nothing. So, I hope this isn't re-hashing old discussions.
For financial reasons, we are being asked to look at a multi-vendor
wireless environment for one of our campuses. We currently run a Cisco
controller-based wireless network in about 100 buildings many of which
are in fairly close proximity to each other. Obviously, we're concerned
about roaming issues as well as differences in client experiences in a
multi-vendor environment.
So, my question to the community is do any of you currently run a
multi-vendor controller-based wireless environment? If so, how are you
handling roaming issues, especially for applications like VoIP?
