I know on first generation PS3s, the wireless & wires NOCS use common logic and/or drivers. If the wireless NIC sees packets it does not understand, the console will be unable to connect wired or wireless.
Aruba APs, by default, send packets to other nearby APs to share interference information. You need to off "ARM over the air updates" if there are first gen PS3s to be supported. Perhaps Cisco does something similar. We have experienced issues with play stations losing their network connection both wired and wirelessly while in use. I can't seem to figure out what is causing this. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem. If so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
