Hi I installed the latest Npcap 0.9983 which was released yesterday 5/9/2019.

"cp"ing the file off the Samba server also experienced the same issue, so it
must be an issue with the Samba server. Restarting the samba server fixed it.

I have not tried Wireshark 3.1, still on 3.0.3.
Had to uninstall npcap,using winpcap again. Had issues with 3G card and npcap.
The Wireless card I am using is an Intel Dual band AC
