Hey Folks, I've noticed that on the 5.0 Dev Studio, all those variables that were set to use "Local" in an Assign action automatically get converted to "Default" - I guess local is being phased out? The problem is that a 4.0 server doesn't see local and default as the same, and so the code breaks

Hi Bill We use - on MacOS X a shell script call to do such things, even as root. And you get the results back in a variable you can read out. We use that to manipulate pictures, which are uploaded to a database (if JDBC worls :-) It is kind of a appleScript replacement . Hope that helps. Ch
