I'll put up a zip file of the tcf and batch file i've been using and post
that so you can play with it. It's not too comprehensive, but covers
identifying the size, height and width, resizing and sharpening (if desired)
of any image.

Absolutely! you can use applescript instead of a batch file... It works
pretty much the same way. (but I haven't dealt with the applescript writing
part...)
