I am using a Windows 7 laptop with Witango 5.5 studio and I am trying to setup a connection to an Excel xls file. I use the Datasource, New and ODBC and I think I am entering everything correctly.
The connection displays Under the ODBC connections. But when I try to open it, it asks for a password and I hit ok as there isn't a password on the file and I get the following. "Couldn't connect To the Data Source "test" Check the user name and password or the data source configuration." When I right click on the connection and select Modify, I get the following. "The setup routines for the Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlsm, *.xlsb) ODBC driver could not be found. Please reinstall the dirver. Any suggestions?
