I have updated witango_cmd on my tools site, so that it no longer
expires. And updated the documentation to help explain the
integration with imagemagick a little better. There is an example taf
that shows you how to upload an image, and have the image instantly
resized and displayed back.
Apparently, the old witango_cmd I had on the site expired 6/1, sorry
about that.
I am offering this up free of charge, but would appreciate a donation
if you use in production. Just makes more incentive to offer stuff
into the community. If you find a bug, please report, but as a free
endeavor, I can only offer limited support.
We use this little utility for MANY functions on our sites. Some are:
Interface with TitanFTP server srxcfg.exe utility to create complete
FTP Server administration from witango.
Interface with Subverision system to be able to administer
repositorys from witango.
Ecommerce product administration, using Image magick, to allow client
to upload a single image from manufacturer, and witango_cmd/
imagemagick creates 3 sized images (small thumb, med thumb, and zoom)
for website, applying special image adjustments to smaller images
like contrast and sharpen. Allows client to view image, make minor
adjustments and save to database in real time.
