First, since you really have to consider at this point you have two differing
products due to the change in the product, upgrade, and package codes, you
will need multiple entries for the upgrade table to address your situation,
each with a differing version range and each with its own independent

side-by-side you shouldn't use different UpgradeCodes.

installing a new version, the old version of the software is uninstalled
first, then the new software is installed.
