Changing the AssemblyFileVersion of my compiled assemblies - didn't help.

No... there is nothing in the documentation about that...
Won't it make the .NET stop working, the assemblies are signed... if some
are not in the same version, it won't

What does the verbose log file in the patch say the action states for the
Components that you expect to be installed? Also, look at the File instal

No no, you got me all wrong.
I don't want cumulative patches! The opposite, I want the last patch that I
install to supersede all others, overwriting the files.
I have the MSP file and in z7 I can see that it h

Same results with versions 10.
Same results with versions 10.00.35.0004, 10.00.36.0004 (HF1), and
10.00.37.0004 (HF2).
I am changing the bundle version as well as the version of the msi, but

replacing it as I would expect.

Forgive me, but, I do not quite understand what you are asking. The first
application is dependant upon the second and cannot exist in singular (i.e.
it is built on top of the others' dlls).

Is the second bundle version higher? If not, then
I am guessing that you have intentionally do that, in order to allow two
parallel installations of the same application on one PC? In cases where
only one application can exist on one PC, is it possible to deny existence
of parallel applications, so it will always upgrade?

Hi all,
I have created a managed bootstrapper to install my 2 product msis. I
have peared down the source of this bootstrapper to create a patch
bootstrapper, to install the msp files for these products. Everything works
as expected until I try to install the second patch. It installs along si
