You are using self registration
Your install and config the services section is the issue, using WiX
you wouldn't run those commands directly - you would include the
relevant registry information in the MSI itself. That way if anything
goes wrong, Windows Installer can roll back the changes.

You are using self registration for your EXEs. That is greatly
discouraged for quite a few reasons.
Ok, I've been struggling with WiX for about 3 weeks now and I'm just not
getting it. :(
As the level of questions I've seen answered and discussed here is at
