That was an amazing event. I can say I was there... and it was
totally worth the travel. (Of course I now live about two air miles
from where we were standing, just west of the Washington Monument).

How the hell much to the official inauguration program (books)
No idea. We didn't have tickets due to still basically being the
proletariat. There were any number of hastily printed signs with
misspellings and bad pieces of art to buy, but my pockets were already
too full of hope.
