Fresh Asparagus with Hot Bacon Dressing with sweetner
 
1/4 pound sliced bacon
2 white onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 water
Salt to taste
6 drops liquid concentrated sweetener (= 1 tablespoon sugar)*
1 large bunch fresh asparagus or 2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen
asparagus, cooked
 
Dice bacon fine; cook in skillet until crisp. Add onions; cook until tender.
Add vinegar, water, and salt. Bring to a boil. Remove from
heat; stir in sweetener; pour over hot asparagus. Makes 6 servings

* Be sure to check you sweeteners sugar equivalent
