Just don't tell later it failed to copy %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\wpkg.xml because
wpkg.js was never started on that machine, and so the file didn't exist... ;)

i think checking the exit code of the command would be best. that way we can be
sure that it works, or doesnt work ...

yes, its a post command.
previously i had the command set up as a package with execute=always and
priority=1 but wpkg.xml hasnt been updated with the latest installed package

MFC71.DLL from Visual Studio was not added to the MSI package.
Adding it to your system should make rc-1 work on freshly installed systems.
Or, wait for rc2.
