All these settings are correct, they work fine outside of WPKG. I did
download version 1.2 of the client, but it would not install because a
program launched by the installer 'did not finish as expected' or
something :( So i had to download v1.0

I did what you suggested (having removed and reinstalled wpkg to make
sure I had done it correctly), and the following is the result:
C:\Documents and Settings\adam>net stop "WPKG Service"
The WPKG Service service is not started.

Hi,
I'm having a few problems getting wpkg to work. I'll first tell you my setup.
I'm running Samba on FreeBSD, and the wpkg clients are Windows XP
Professional SP2.
I have created a \\server\wpkg share, and have installed the 'WPKG
Client' onto my XP machines (I have tried both CLI and GUI meth

Hi,
I'm having some serious problems with WPKG here :(
It seems like WPKG is destroying the packages.xml when it copies it to the
local machine...

Hi all,
My wpkg installer won't start properly. The only message I get in the system
log is "The service terminated unexpectedly" (service control event #7031).
When I start the service manually, it runs without any problems.
Using wpkg 0.9.10 with wpkg installer 0.90 on windows 2000 sp4 (dutch
