I have recently started using Wpkg to supplement Group Policy software
distribution in our office. I would like to start off by saying a big thank you
to everyone who has worked on this project. It is great to have an open-source
alternative to the commercial software deployment servers.
In our
Windows version (2000,XP,Vista) can be obtained via registry:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\ProductName
and Service Pack:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\CSDVersion
