[wpkg-users] MSI-Installer 1.3.14 on Win7

Hello List, I'm just checking out the 1.3.14 beta on Windows 7 and seem to be running into trouble (and a quick search over bugzilla and the list didn't get results). Just double-clicking on the MSI brings me an error "You must have administrative privilege to run this tool." during install an

hey there, just saw wpkg and i like it and want to use it for software deployment. we have windows xp and windows 7 machines here. on xp everything works fine but when wpkg runs on a w7 machine windows displays a message saying sth. like "a program wants to display a message, click here to view it

[wpkg-users] WPKG Client Settings

Hi all, I was wondering where the WPKG Client stores its settings for things like environment variables and if its possible that we edit them outside the wpkg client as we need to set a variable depending on which site our pc is in (via AD). Thanks Brett Royles Network Manager King Edward VII

Hi, on WinXP, before I can log in, I see wpgk message box. After that I see the black cscript (dos) window during the installation. So I know how long it takes. On Vista/Win7 i dont know if wpkg starts and when the installation finished. Its a pitty, I mean. It could be problem on long setups

Hi All, New user here. Considering deploying WPKG as we presently use Win XP x64. However in a couple of months we will upgrade to Windows 7. I'm hoping a workaround is found for the WIndows 7 access issues which seem to be stopping the splash screen part of WPKG from working? Any other alternat
