Note that the correct way to do this is, according to Mozilla, is to create you
own localization (en-COMPANY) and deploy it. However I cant justify making 5 or
6 prefs changes and a dictionary change as a whole new deployment so I just
edit the default en-US

I too would love to know. Filetypes, mimetypes, clsid's and persistenthandlers
are one of the biggest pains to manage, every app seems to have a different way
to handle the problem.

Here an old one I use, no checking in it because it is implemented using

Try a fileversion detect, I had similar problems running an upgrade and
not getting the uninstall version updated in add/remove programs.

You can run Truecrypt from any directory after its extracted, its fully
self contained, compiled into a single executable truecrypt.exe.
