I have just launched a new CSS tutorial to follow on from Listamatic,
Listutorial and Floatutorial.
This one is called Selectutorial - CSS selectors - and includes basics like
the structure of rules, the document tree, types of selectors and their
uses. There is also a step-by-step tutor

Welcome to the group!
Those a good ideas. As you may have noticed, the ":before" and ":after"
section of Selectutorial is VERY brief - as I am trying to aim at users just
getting into CSS and selectors.

Great stuff. I've been fooling around with hover on various elements.
Would it be right in saying that IE tends to only allow it on anchor
tags? I've been trying to get a TR:hover thing going to highlight rows
of a table without relying on Javascript. Also trying on form buttons to

Yup. Bit of a bummer but we have had to revert to JS for type stuff.
