picked 1.7 rc1 as target. All ran to completion.
The build loads but still having audio problems. From terminal window:

Thanks again, After enabling, clean and qt55, and probably, for the
first time remembering to rebuild hamlib3, first, before building
WSJT-X, the build completed without any errors. I bet that previously,
it was my failure to rebuild hamlib3 that was the problem. I didn't
suspect JTSDK,

Removing the devel directory fixed it for me too.
I hope I have replied correctly as I only contributed to this mailing list as

You may want to "enable-qt55" and restart JTSDK too.qt52 should work too but
qt55 is the current target.
qt52 seems to work though on XP whereas qt55 doesn't.
