Hi all,
just built r7990 and saw the updates to the User Guide. Some quick notes:
The left hand slider is still mentioned in the User Guide in para 10.3.
In para 10.4, a 'Center' panel is shown, but there configuration

Another thing I am just thinking of and maybe I missed it, but maybe a mention
of a priori with a description of what it is.
Just had a series 5 decodes of CT1HZE here CQing on FT8 mode on 6 meters. His
last decode was at -23 with a1 showing on the side. That made me think of it. 😊

Hi Chuck,
C:\JTSDK\tools is where the GNU tools are kept (awk, sed, grep, ls, and many
others). JTSDK Maintenance ( C:\JTSDK\maint.cmd) is just a shell script that
sets up a specific environment (add paths and such).

That's interesting. I have a folder named Tools under the main c:\JTSDK
folder. Inside is JTSDK Maintenance.
I also have an icon at the same level as c:\jtsdk that says JTSDK Update.
I used it a few days ago to get me up to 2.0.5-1.

Thanks Greg, the maintenance worked fine. For the benefit of those of us still
learning JTSDK you might point out that Maintenance is a file called "maint" in
the JTSDK folder.
Thanks for all the work you folks are doing to make WSJT spectacular.

Hi all,
In preparation for a soon-to-come second candidate release of WSJT-X
Version 1.8, I committed a large number of updates to the WSJT-X User

Hello All,
The Hamlib development team recently made a slight change to their build
invocation. As result, a minor change to the JTSDK-Win Hamlib3 build script
was required.
TO UPGRADE:
* Open JTSDK Maintenance
* Type: update
* Type: upgrade
* Close, then reopen JTSDK Maintenance
* Type: version
Sorry Joe ...
I picked the wrong email to get the address from :)
Anyway, the steps to reproduce:
1. Turn on FT8 contest mode in the settings
2. Have auto sequence and call 1st checked
3. Call CQ
4. QSO partner then responds

very useful on 10m and over here in region 1 it is certainly used on 4m.

1. Why not go to the WSJT-X User Guide? You might start at these two
places:
