There is not a lot of space under the 'Auto Seq' box - I will agree date and
time could be smaller - but disagree as to the DX Call/Grid - they need to be
easily seen/entered for distance/Bearing - my eyes are not quite what the were
a few years back and with all the different frequencies
Hi Chris:
Possibly a suggestion that you have already checked, but how does the power
look into a dummy load? Perhaps the power reduction on 40m is due to a new
mismatch. It may be a hardware issue rather than a WSJT-X issue!

If anyone was seriously concerned about real estate usage in the WSJT-X
user window there wouldn't be all that wasted space in the lower left
corner for any of the modes. The Frequency display doesn't need to be
anywhere near that large, DX Call and DX Grid is mostly superfluous, the

Joe,
We tested a lot of the station before we left - as much functionality and
hardware as we could in fact. However in the case of FOX mode, that is
something that is extremely difficult to test until you arrive somewhere
where people will a) accept you should be running FOX mode and b) are able
Zeev,
Sorry if I misled you or anyone else. I run Log4OM, N1MM+, and WSJT-X all
at the same time. Perhaps it is N1MM+ that is passing the freq. info to
Log4OM. Running all 3 works for me. I will be quiet now. KV4ZY QRT.

Hi Doug,
I followed the manual, but I do not see the frequency information in Log4OM.
The settings in both WSJT-X and Log2OM refer to 'ADIF UDP' which
Try using FLRig and rigctld instead.
FLRig to your rigrigctld to FLRigLog4OM to rigctldWSJT-X to FLRigFLDigi to FLRig
I have all of these running at once.

Hi Zeev,
the recommended procedure is to leave "Monitor" mode in WSJT-X by
pressing the "Monitor" button on the WSJT-X main window, press it again

Hello Doug,
Getting the log from WSJT-X to Log4OM is already taken care of.
The goal of having both WSJT-X and Log4OM connected to Omni-Rig is to have
one Log4OM profile for both SSB and Digi modes. Ideally, one should just
turn-off "Enable Tx" on WSJT-X to operate to SSB on the rig.

The Log4OM manual has specific instructions on getting WSJT-X logging
functions to use UDP to communicate with Log4OM. Omni-Rig is used as
"radio" FOR WSJT-X only. Freq. info is passed to Log4OM via UDP as well as
the logging. Read the Log4OM manual.

This is my first post here. I've tried the Yahoo group, but that did not
help. Hopefully the developers here can shed some light on the expected
behavior.
Omni-Rig main feature is "multithreading: multiple programs, written by
different authors in different languages, can control the radio via

Thanks for the reply - I am really pleased that the RR73 problem is in fact
a bug. I can tell you that it is driving FOX operators nuts on expeditions.
I guess we should have spoken up sooner.

Hi!
On band activity: how about ALL.TXT?
On linux:
tail -f ALL.TXT |grep -v A35JT
would give nice idea what is going on the band segment.
I assume ALL.TXT works in Fox mode, and there are similar commands in Windows
as well.
