You can read the settings back using:
defaults read org.k1jt.wsjtx
I just rebooted and checked they were still there. Also, I'd like to report
that I haven’t seen the app nap yet. :)

I am trying this scheme (NSAppSleepDisable) as well, using a local rather than
Global domain. It is not clear that this will will survive a reboot, but some
further checks are in progress.
