That has worked for me up to this ubuntu-22 -- there is an error message
about libboost-71 being a required component, but not having an install
candidate.
Thus for my ft8 machines, I have done the compile.

Or... you can download the .deb from the WSJT-X site and install with
sudo apt -y install ./wsjt-x_2.3.4_amd64.deb Not having to worry if the
repository is up to date or not.
