It appears that FT8 (as one example) and WSJT-X are capable of at least
somewhat defining the expected variability of the HF channel. Have you

your team. Perhaps any objections raised by cost and scope could be
reduced by a Federal grant?

Any chance that an FT8 mode that performs the required exchange of
information for the 2018 Field Day could be created?
I know y'all are wrapped up in DXP mode, but thought it was worth asking.
