Hello,

I have been using WSJT-X with FT8 for the last few months.

My system:  Ubuntu MATE 16.04

A routine update caused a new version of WSJT-X to be installed.

The present version:   WSJT-X  v1.9.0-rc4

After this update a few days ago my first usage tonight showed a problem:

Apparently no signals received/displayed on the waterfall.

I checked my audio configuration: same as usual.

I rebooted in case the time service was not synchronised.

CAT check was OK.

Monitor button was clicked.  Nothing received.

When I clicked decode button, the following error message was displayed.

Subprocess Error

Subprocess failed with exit code 2

Running: /usr/bin/jt9 -s WSJT-X -w 1 -m 1 -e /usr/bin -a
/home/john/.local/share/WSJT-X -t /tmp/WSJT-X

At line 104 of file
/build/wsjtx-ow8zmM/wsjtx-1.9.0-8642/obj-x86_64-linux-gnu/wsjtx-prefix/src/wsjtx/lib/ft8/sync8.f90

Fortran runtime error: Index '0' of dimension 1 of array 'indx' below
lower bound of 1

I then checked the WSJT-X that was installed on another PC (laptop).
Version  WSJT-X v1.8.0r8193

I just plugged in the audio cables and the usb, clicked monitor and it
worked fine.
