Yes it is correct. This is on purpose to keep the tone you transmit higher
than 1499 and lower than 2000 Hertz. Doing so will help assure that your
transmitter’s filter takes out any audio harmonics of the tones you send
On my FTdx 5000 I never took much notice of it but I think the VFO-B frequency
