Just FYI,

These are good practice runs for the ARRL FMT tests. There is another ARRL Centennial run slated for November that will issue certificates.

A very early good morning to all.

If there is sufficient expression of interest, I would be pleased to provide
signals for a couple of FMT practice sessions toward the end of July. That is far enough off for -

1. "FMT withdrawal syndrome" to have set in

2. Recovery from your Field Day exertions.

3. The unprepared to get prepared!

The format will be the same as for the practice sessions I ran before the April FMT.

Bands 20 and 40 M. (I might add 80 M if things work out).

Frequencies - about the same - though I am going to look for a better spot on 40 M.

Number of sessions - 3 - Monday, Wednesady, and Saturday nights

Time - 9:00 PM CDT with 30 min between transmissions

and so on. If there is interest I will publish a more detailed test plan as the time gets nearer. Also - other test nights are possible if needed for someone who has a conflict.

Transmitter - Rb stabilized synthesizer calibrated using 10 MHz phase comparison against multiple T-bolts. 500 Watts output.

I will announce the frequencies within an hour or two of the end of the tests. Also I will collect, collate, and post measurements for those stations that send
me their results by email.

If you are interested in participating please let me know by posting on FMT-nuts.
