Sandro (IW3RAB) identified a couple of issues in JTSDK-Win32 v2.0.6 Release
719. Originally, I didn't think they were critical, least wise, not enough
to warrant an immediate update. As it turns out, the version number bug will
cause you longer term problems if not resolved now.
Changes Made:
* Change checkout urls to HTTPS in the WSJT-X build script
* Fix a bug that truncated version numbers to 1 digit, for example:
1.1.0 v.s 1.10.0.
* Fix a typo in wsjtx-list screen display only
In the past, many have reported trouble with HTTPS checkouts. I too have had
them, but not recently. The second item will change where the build, install
and package output folders are located:
Release 719 - C:\JTSDK\wsjtx\trunk\qt55\1.1.0\8732\{Release . .
Release 720 - C:\JTSDK\wsjtx\trunk\qt55\1.10.0\8732\Release . .
Note: 1.10.0 v.s. 1.1.0 in the paths.
UPGRADE:
* Open JTSDK-Maint
* Type: update
* Type: upgrade
* Close and Open JTSDK-QT as normal.
You may have trouble with changing URL's from HTTP to HTTPS. Bill and Sandro
discussed a short How-To [1] on the dev-list. I simply removed the checkout
and pulled new. This may not be optimal for developers or those actively
editing sources. It's up to you as to which method is more appropriate.
