Hello all, I committed a few changes to JTSDK-DOC this afternoon. This is a follow up to those changes (more are on the way). I'll also send out a separate update regarding the build status (as I know it to be) for each application + docs.
No changes to JTSDK Core Applications have been made, only ENV and Build scripts. A few new files were added to accommodate the WSJT-X changes using the Hamlib2/3 binaries Bill (G4WJS) sent out and provide shortcuts for Anonymous checkouts. *Quick Start Update* (for those that have JTSDK-DOC installed) - Open jtsdk-docenv.bat and update: svn update - Exit jtsdk-docenv - Open Windows CMD terminal, and run install script: - C:\JTSDK-DOC\doc\dev-guide\scripts\install-scripts.bat - You can also browse to the script and double-click to install the updates. - You should be able build all 5 apps as before. *From Fresh JTSDK Install* - This section is re-stating what Joe had sent out initially, with a few edits. - Once JTSDK-DOCS has been installed, future updates are via svn update and install-scripts file. - At the moment, JTSDK-DOC is required to provide updates to the other two SDK's. This method will likely change in the future as updates are added to the SDK's themselves. *Download Links* http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/JTSDK-DOC.exe http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/JTSDK-PY.exe http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/JTSDK-QT.exe JTSDK-DOC for ( Application and Dev-guide Documents ) JTSDK-QT for ( WSJT-X, WSPR-X and MAP65 ) JTSDK-PY for ( WSJT and WSPR ) - Download JTSDK-DOC - Run the Self-Extracting .exe - Set C:\ as the extract path ( C:\JTSDK-DOC will be created ) - Perform the Initial JTSDK-DOC checkout when prompted *Install Additional SDKs As Desired* - Perform the Quick Start Update You should now be able to build any of the five applications. All of the SDK's use the same method, including docs. *Example building WSJT* - Open windows CMD Terminal ( or browse, then double click ) - Type: c:\JTSDK-PY\jtsdk-pyenv.bat - At the prompt, Type: build wsjt - Follow the prompts to run. *Note*: - If you *have not* performed an initial wsjt checkout, you will be prompted to do so. - Anonymous Checkouts can type: checkout wsjt - Dev Checkouts need the full URL using your SF username. If you have any trouble, shoot an email to the list. Expect more changes as the Developers update and implement cool stuff for us to test out. 73's Greg, KI7MT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
