Hello All,
This upgrade attempts to fix several users reported bugs along with a
few help screen updates. No major features / build commands have been
changed nor added.
*CHANGE LOG*
- After running a build command / script, do not change directories back
to C:\JTSDK, rather, remain in the directory from which the command was run.
- Attempt to resolve upgrade conflicts using (tc) if the user has
locally modified files.
- Fixed / updated several help screen messages
- Minor updates to the postinstall.cmd script
*UPGRADE*
If you have modified any of the builds or qtenv / pyenv / maint scripts,
you should back them up to a location outside of C:\JTSDK before running
the upgrade.
- Close All JTSDK-* terminals
- Open JTSDK-Maint and type:
update
upgrade
- Close and Re-Ppen JTSDK-Maint, then type: version
You should be presented with the version information per the attached
screen-shot.
If you run into file conflicts, with the exception of JTSDK-Maint
itself, you can either select (tc) when prompted, or simply remove /
delete the conflicting file and re-run the upgrade step again.
I've tested several upgrade runs while intentionally creating conflicts
and believe the upgrade script should work in most cases. That is not to
say the upgrade path is bullet proof; only that I could not make it fail
with the conflicts I created.
If you have any conflicts during the upgrade, please send me a screen
capture of the event and the steps taken to reproduce it.
