thank for advice, but I install from official mini.iso (32M !) in
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/trusty-updates/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/
and apt-get install only what I need (the hard way ?) plus compilers
based on LXDE.

If Ubuntu is your *Nix flavor of choice, I'd install the standard Ubuntu
desktop first, then, add in Lubuntu or maybe Xubuntu desktops as they
are much lighter resource wise. There are many to choose from.

I see that some cmake are to be adjusted
It began as an experiment on a old P4, but work so well that think
mantain it for radio.
The build time are faster than in Window 7 with 4 core.

All are correct, but use [1] as we are moving over to JTSDK for all
things JTSDK relates except for the documentation ( dev-guide )
Be aware, JTSDK-NIX needs work.
