Richard, You have tried the other COM ports?  While I run a linux system here, I have a rig and computer that the port assignment changes from time to time.  Also, check again the baud rate in wsjtx, be sure it is correct for the rig being used.  This would be in Settings, in the FILE section o

I am just now trying to start using WSJT. I can receive OK, but not transmit--PTT doesn't work. When I open the program I frequently get get a Rig Control Error, with invitation to reconfigure the radio. There is nothing to adjust there, except Test Transmit, and then I get Rig Failure. At Mi
