Hi Joe and Team, First of all, I would like to thank you, as well as Steve, and the entire team, for all of the hard work on developing the upgrades to the WSJT suite. I have really been enjoying all of the WSJT modes over the last several years, as well as the features of the recent updates.
I noticed that a feature added to the latest release candidate is a feature to disable transmit after 5 minutes of no mouse movement. I would like to request that the software be revised to allow the user to disable this feature. (An alternative to disabling the feature could be allowing the user to change the 5 minute time to a longer time, up to 60 minutes). The reason for this request is that on 2 meters, meteor scatter MSK144 contacts often take 30 minutes or more to complete, especially during non-shower conditions. With the auto sequencing feature, it's been convenient to walk away from the rig/PC while a long 2M MSK144 contact (usually a sked) is being run. It's easy to leave the volume of the rig and monitor speaker loud enough to "keep tabs" on the status of the contact by listening for pings and transmitted tone changes from other rooms in the house (while conducting other activities) without the need to be at the rig/computer.
