I've reviewed all the open tickets in Jira, and have scheduled them for
when they will be fixed or addressed.

You can take a quick look at this link:
http://jira.openqa.org/browse/WTR?report=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:roadmap-panel

Items scheduled for 1.5.1 are things that need to be fixed asap. These
are basically regression bugs and large scale packaging issues. We are
packaging 1.5 differently from 1.4 -- mainly using a gem and a bonus
file -- and i want to have this clearly in place soon, so that people
can at least understand the structure and we can get feedback on it.

Watir 1.5.2 will be the first official beta release of Watir. Many of
our new features will still be incomplete at this time. We may have
multiple beta releases.

At some point Watir will be officially released. I don't know what the
exact number for this will be. It depends on how many betas and release
candidates we have. Some of these items are bug fixes that i would like
to fix soon, but which may not be fixed in the initial full release of
1.5. In other words if 1.5.6 is the fully supported release, they might
be fixed in 1.5.7 or 1.5.8.

Some items are marked Future, this means that we agree that these need
to be done, but have not scheduled when we will do them. In other words,
if someone submits code for one of these, we will be glad to accept it
(if it has tests, etc.)

Some items are marked unknown. This means that they have not been
reviewed. Most of these are very old tickets that we probably won't get
to (and which i still want to look at more carefully to figure out which
should be Future and which rejected as won't fix.)

What you can do ---

Make sure that bugs and features that you care about are in Jira.

Jira has a feature that allows you to VOTE on features you care about.
Please use this to give us feedback on issues that are important to you.

Also please add comments if you have suggestions or questions about this
tickets.
