Well I'm a bit further along, but not by much.
It *builds* for me with a hand-installed wxWidgets 2.9.5 (in stow) and
the current Git wxHaskell (2f065e53), but when I try to build a sample
program, I get this linker error
ghc -package-db
../../.cabal-sandbox/x86_64-osx-ghc-7.6.3-packag
