Never mind. *I* do now.
It took some digging (using dTrace to check for file opens whilst
running sw_vers) to find the right file but...
cd /System/Library/CoreServices
vim SystemVersion.plist
Edit the file to change the version number (probably only the second
one matters)
Install as you see fit
BTW -- isn't it be a violation of the license to require a version of
paid software before allowing installation?
