How are things going? Now that libssh 0.6.3 is out my distro wants to
update it. How's x2goclient doing? Can we expect a quick release or
how's git status?

This commits breaks session popping up on the client here in ArchLinux.
Reverting it in 4.0.0.2 makes it working again.

Is Arch the only distro affected by issue? What could be the culprit?
How can we debug this?
People start to workaround it by using a custom startup script like
this:
#!/bin/bash
export LANG=de_DE.UTF-8
exec gnome-session
No idea? Should we file a bug?

This is what can be found in my journald with X2go debug logging enabled:

I've attached our x2goserver package file
I have a problem with the locale in my client session. I have set the
locale on my remote client and on the server to "de_DE.UTF-8". This
also works well in OpenNX sessions but with X2goclient I see within the
client session nothing translated into German due to the locale not
applied well. Within

The error keeps crashing gtk widgets also in the new 1.12.6 release.
I've tried to get some useful output with gdb attaching to the remote
nxagent process. But it doesn't give any useful out. I've built nx-libs
and cairo with debug symbols unstripped.
Any hint how to get better debug info?

A new cairo "stable" release is out and it seems to trigger another bug
with NX. When I update the remote system to the new cairo release the
Xfce session gives lots of such errors:
The program 'xfce4-netload-plugin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.

Just a note about a bug I've run into:

Maybe somebody else can confirm if this is a NoMachine NX bug.

Though most segfaults in nxagent have been fixed on the server Windows
clients seem unusable now: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/29886.
Personally I can confirm Linux clients having broken character rendering
after session resume.

I can confirm
I'm seeing nxserver 3.5.0-x crashing with new cairo 1.12 release with
this dmesg entries:
