I've come across an odd problem. From windows and linux clients I'm
attempting to connect to a linux system, rocky linux 8.7, and run a
single application. Terminator is the application but it seems as
though most any app behaves the same.
If noone is logged onto the remote linux systems gnome desktop the
connection works okay. But if for instance I'm logged into gnome on the
linux box and try to get a terminator shell over x2go the terminator
window pops up on the linux desktop instead of being redirected back to
the client side of the connection.
On the linux server side: X11Forwarding is set to yes. X11UseLocalhost
is set to no, it was set to yes previously but the change didn't effect
the behavior. AllowAgentForwarding and AllowTcpForwarding are both set
to default which should be yes.
Any clues where I should start looking for the cause here?
