Hi Colin,
If you can come up with a small set of examples which illustrate what you
are seeing, especially any differences between Xalan-C and xsltproc, that
would be great. You can post them to the list, or create a bugzilla
report.
Thanks!
Dave

Hi Colin,
Before you assume it's a bug, you might want to post a small small
stylesheet and input document that reproduce the problem. This usually
happens because you copy elements that are not in any namespace, and some
parent element has the default namespace. It can also happen because o
I'm creating xhtml pages from a transform. For some reason, which I
can't fathom, I'm getting spurious xmlns="" appearing on some
elements. xsltproc does not do this. Is this a known problem, or
should I raise a bug (with attachments to reproduce)?

Shirish,
That's a big question. Lots of discussion on the mailing list archives,
but if your aim is to dynamically build and then later modify a DOM
tree, then you can work with Xerces and when you come to a point where
you want to perform some form of Xalan based activity (transform or
XPath
Hi David,
thanks for your help.
Setting the second boolean to true helped indeed
and really made a diffence.
Thanks again
Joerg
Hi,
I am trying to use both Xerces and Xalan together in
my application. Is it possible to us the DOM tree and
hence APIs in Xalan & Xerces interchangably ? How ?
Thanks,
Shirish
