That's exactly what I'm getting. I was about to send mail
but hadn't gotten there yet. I'm trying to compile on Fedora
Core 6 with all the libraries except GDAL.

You might try configure --without-rtree just to get past that
problem for now.

CoverSplit is defined as, and if there's something in the FC6 system
