I've been talking to Keith offline, and I think this was the clue that got him going: the Keyspan device special file contains data on the adapter's location in the USB "tree", so this name will change if it's plugged in to a different port. The "191" part of "USA19H191P1.1" will change. I've al

Yep .. I am starting to think along the same lines Curt .. Thanks for following the thread.. I grabbed Xastir 1.92 stable and tried that in case there was some issue with 1.93. Ive compiled 1.92 without Raster map support to keep it simple as well. Its the same deal. The Menus have titles on them
