[Xastir] Maps reloading

Running Xastir v. 1.9.2 on Mandriva Linux 2008.0  . I see maps are reloaded during normal operation, not only at the startup. The reloading works also when the maps visualization is not changed during the time. It is a bit annoying as the process takes long time, so I ask if that behaviour is
