I loaned the DVD to a friend at work who tried it on his wife's laptop, and wireless worked right out of the box. Previously he had needed to compile ndiswrapper in Ubuntu-Hardy in order to get wireless working. Her laptop has a Broadcom wireless chip. The live DVD also worked well witih the wireless chip in my wife's laptop, which is also a Broadcom.
